Driving by car....
The Seaview Beach Resort is located in Qualicum Beach, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, a scenic 2.5-hour (147km/91 mile) drive north from Victoria, or a 40-minute (48 km/30 mile) drive north from the Nanaimo ferry terminal. BC Ferries offers scheduled passenger/vehicle service to Nanaimo from Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay (both near Vancouver). Qualicum Beach is also served by daily bus, rail and air service.
From Nanaimo, continue north on the Island Highway (#19) until you reach the Qualicum Beach exit. Take the exit and follow it through the quaint town of Qualicum Beach. You will pass Qualicum's new food store "Quality Foods" on your left, as well as many specialty shops where you may purchase all your vacation needs. Continue east down Memorial Avenue to the ocean and the Qualicum Beach public areas.
Turn left at the intersection onto scenic Highway 19A. You will see the Old Dutch Inn and the Shell Gas station on your left (to the west) and the British Columbia Travel Information Centre ahead of you to your right (to the east).
Relax. At this point, your are less than 10 minutes (3 km/2 miles) from the Resort. Continue north from here on Highway 19A and watch for a large motel complex (the Riverside Resort Motel) ahead of you to your left (to the west).
Slow down immediately and take the first road to your right. This is Kinkade Road. Stay on Kinkade rd. until it branches to the left and becomes McFeely Road. You will see the Seaview Beach Resort site straight ahead of you. WELCOME!
